Do you feel powerless to your thoughts and emotions? Do you want more out of life? Are you ready to start the hard work of meaningful change?

Meaningful change starts with mindfully noticing and allowing what is going on in your inner life – your thoughts, emotions and body sensations – as well as in your relationships and environment. With this foundation, you learn and practice selected skills from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to meet your unique goals. I have completed advanced training in every therapy I practice and continuously look for new ways to more effectively help you help yourself.

As your partner on this journey, my goal is for you to feel seen, heard and understood by someone who has been there. I ask hard questions when needed, cheer you on when you are discouraged and celebrate your progress with you, always keeping in mind your goals and aspirations. Healing is not the absence of suffering. It is cultivating the capacity to maintain your equilibrium despite the suffering that inevitably comes with being human. As you move through therapy, I have three hopes for you, that you will discover a fresh sense of purpose, grow in self-confidence and embrace a new passion for life.
