You’re tired of feeling out of control and stuck in life, but moving forward and figuring out how to live life on your terms feels overwhelming. I get that because I’ve been there! I’m Caitlin and I help people transform their relationship with themselves, learning how to partner with their emotions, live in alignment with their values, and feel more connected with what really matters in life.
In sessions we’ll collaborate in setting the focus and I will remain a devout cheerleader encouraging you towards your goals. There will be laughter and real talk and likely more than a few curse words, because if you can’t tell it like it really is in therapy, where can you? I’ll sit in the messy middle with you and help you tap into your own innate wisdom. I don’t have your answers, but I’ll help you slow down and begin to discover them for yourself.
I graduated from the University of Michigan with my Masters in Social Work and spent the early part of my career working in community based settings with children and families. I have specialized training in working with folx with adoptive and foster-care histories and from this I emphasize attachment, attunement, and validation in my work with clients.
Outside of sessions, you’ll likely find me working out in my garden or launching myself full-force into learning a new-to-me skill. Recent highlights have included aerial silks, watercolor painting, rugby, learning how to play the ukulele, and now roller skating.
