Hi there! I’m Anjali (pronounced "Un-jah-lee"), and I'm a therapist whose passion lies in serving survivors of sexual trauma and supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as those facing anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
I believe therapy is most effective when both the client and therapist feel empowered to show up as their authentic selves. My goal is to meet you where you're at with empathy, care, and a sense of playfulness. Together, we can navigate the complexities of your experience at a pace that feels comfortable, moving toward a life that feels lighter, brighter, easier.
More specifically, if you're seeking healing from sexual trauma, have questions about identity formulation, or are simply curious about your sexuality, we may be a great fit! I aim to help clients navigate their sexual health and identity in a safe, affirming space. I utilize a practical, harm-reductionist approach to help clients develop a positive sexual identity and practice cultivating safety and security in their relationships.
My lived experience as a queer, biracial, thick woman informs my therapeutic practice, which is rooted in body-liberatory, anti-racist, queer-affirming frameworks. Simultaneously, my lived experience as a cat-mom of two blue-russian kittens informs my Instagram algorithm, which is filled with incredibly cute, goofy animals. In my time outside the office, I love going on neighborhood walks, cooking international cuisines, and expressing myself through watercolor art.
“There’s magic in being seen by people who understand—It gives you permission to keep going.”- Alok Vaid-Menon.
I look forward to witnessing you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery!
