Hey there! My name is Caroline, and I’m so happy you’ve found your way to this page - please accept my sincere congratulations on taking the first step towards change!
As a therapist, I specialize in helping my clients create behavioral change. I love helping my clients find down to earth, practical solutions that work for their unique circumstances. I’m also a huge advocate for balancing compassionate gravity with connection and play – I have a lot of enthusiasm for the work that I do with clients, and I’ve been told that it shows!
A bit about my training: I received my master’s degree in social work from the Brown School at Washington University. Prior to moving to STL DBT, I honed my skills by working with eating disorder clients at the residential (RTC), partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care. I’m a bit of a research nerd, and have a passion for learning about evidence based treatments – I’ve received advanced training in every therapy that I practice, and am always eager to learn something new.
Regardless of if your mission is to challenge perfectionism, develop greater intimacy in relationships, or get self-sabotaging behaviors in check, I’d love to work together! I promise to show up as my authentic self in sessions, and my hope is that this will help you feel safe to show up as yours.
PS: If you’re not into the idea of sitting still on the couch for a full hour of therapy, no worries! I offer clients the opportunity to do walking sessions outside, and I keep art materials in my office to engage with during sessions for some extra stimulation.
