Wednesday DBT Skills Group
Our DBT Skills groups are all adherent to the DBT model. The skills focus on areas of:
- Distress Tolerance
- Emotion Regulation
- Interpersonal Effectiveness.
To get through all modules of the skills takes 24 weeks. Most clients are recommended to go through all classes twice as the research demonstrates it takes multiple passes to both learn and apply the skills routinely in life. It is possible for some clients to choose only select modules based on individualized needs. These determinations are made together with the therapists.
