STLDBT offers a comprehensive DBT program — including therapy, group and between-session coaching, — for adults and young adults, couplesteens 13 years and up and families. For clients who prefer a different approach, we also offer CBT and MBCT we well as Prolonged Exposure and EMDR for trauma.  Our therapists treat a wide range of diagnoses and problems from borderline personality disorder to depression and anxiety, PTSD to eating disorders and substance abuse.

Adults & Young Adults

STLDBT’s Adult and Young Adult Program addresses your needs at four stages of treatment. You can start treatment in any stage. The program consists of three components: individual therapy, skills group and between-session coaching when crises arise. We also offer a skills group for individuals 18+ years with substance use disorders.


Couples DBT builds on your strengths as a couple and focuses on here-and-now challenges to your relationship. We provide DBT to couples at all levels of commitment, whatever your sexual orientation, age, living arrangement, cultural background or religion.


The Teen DBT Program includes four components: individual therapy, periodic family sessions, teen-parent skills group for younger teens or teen skills group for older teens and between-session coaching.


St Louis DBT provides family therapy to those who are hoping to grow and heal wounded relationships, learn how to understand one another, manage conflict and communicate effectively.
