Pay It Forward

Adobe StockThe Guardian Angel Fund was started by a St Louis DBT graduate who felt compelled to “pay it forward” upon completion of the DBT program. He felt so profoundly and positively effected by the program that he decided to share the healing process with others who could not otherwise afford to do the program on their own.

Since then, the fund has sponsored three participants who have reported vast improvements in their relationships to significant others, a satisfying increases in emotional well being and a renewed commitment to live a life worth living.

Be Part of Transforming Lives

If you would like to be a part of healing another and spreading a movement, please consider donating. One hundred percent of your donation goes to cover the individual or group therapy costs for someone struggling to find their reason to live. Additionally, St. Louis DBT will match your donation, doubling your contribution!

DBT Works

“DBT saved my life!” We have heard this phrase time and time again in our combined decades of treating folks who come to us suicidal, self-injuring, self-sabotaging, and essentially living in hell. DBT saves lives.

Many studies have shown DBT greatly reduces the use of costly crisis services, such as long-term residential placement, psychiatric hospitalizations and emergency room visits. At the same time, it reduces suicidal behaviors and attempts by 50% compared to non-behavioral therapy. (Linehan et al., 2006).

But, don’t just take our word for it, read a few of the many testimonials from DBT participants who have seen their lives transformed here. Then, we hope you will consider being a part of bringing this change to those who are unable to afford this life-saving solution.
